BL21-CodonPlus(DE3)-RIPLstrain produces an increased supply of rare E. coli tRNAs that correspond tocodons used more frequently by other organisms. This novel host contains extracopies of argU, ileW, leuY and proL tRNAs that recognize rare arginine,isoleucine, leucine and proline codons, respectively. Use this strain toovercome expression problems due to codon bias.
