BioVector? BL-29 is an immortalized epithelial cell line derived from Human Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC). It is one of the classic in vitro models used to study the biological characteristics of nasopharyngeal cancer. BL-29 cells are frequently utilized to explore metabolic reprogramming, dysregulated cellular signaling, and the mechanisms of response to radiotherapy and chemotherapeutic agents. Similar to BL-31 and BL-33, this cell line holds significant research value in modeling nasopharyngeal malignancies, which have a high incidence in East Asia.
