BioVector? Jurkat 76 is a specialized derivative of the classic Jurkat cell line. Its defining characteristic is the lack of endogenous $TCR$ (T-cell receptor) and $CD3$ expression. Because it does not produce endogenous TCR $\alpha$ and $\beta$ chains, there is no interference from native TCR complexes. This makes Jurkat 76 an ideal "blank slate" model for TCR gene transduction, studies on TCR structure and function, and the screening of novel TCR-T immunotherapies.
