NTCC? NCI-H748 cell line (also known as H748) is a human lung-derived cell line primarily used in small cell lung cancer research.
General Specifications
Source Organism:Homo sapiens (Human)
Tissue/Disease: Derived from a metastatic lymph node of a 62-year-old Black male patient with lung cancer (July 1984).
Ethnicity: Black / African American.
Morphology: Grows as floating aggregates of round cell clusters.
Karyotype: t(1;3)del(3)(p14-p23).
Growth Properties: Suspension.
Culture Conditions & Handling
Base Medium:ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium.
