The NTCC? CEM.NKR-CCR5-Luc cell line is a highly specialized tool in HIV/AIDS research, building upon the CEM.NKR-CCR5 cell line by adding a reporter gene.



Key Characteristics
Parental Line: It is a derivative of the CEM.NKR-CCR5 cell line, which is in turn derived from the CEM.NKR line.
Genetic Modification: This cell line has been genetically engineered to stably express two key components:
CCR5: The human C-C chemokine receptor type 5, a critical coreceptor for R5-tropic HIV-1 entry.
