DI Water………………………………………………...500.0 ml
Solution B:
Dried Bovine Hemoglobin (BD 212392)…………………….10.0 g
DI Water………………………………………………………..500.0 ml
Autoclave Solutions A and B separately at 121oC. Cool to 50oC. Aseptically add
Solution B to Solution A. Mix very well. Rehydrate IsoVitalex according to package
instructions and add aseptically to medium.
IsoVitaleX (BD 211876)………………………………………..10.0 ml
Mix well and dispense into appropriate vessel.
Broth Medium
Solution A:
Proteose Peptone #3…………………………………….15.0 g
Corn Starch……………………………………………….1.0 g
Dipotassium Phosphate…………………………………4.0 g
Monopotassium Phosphate…………………………….1.0 g
Sodium Chloride…………………………………………5.0 g
DI Water…………………………………………………..500 ml
Adjust pH to 7.2 +/- 0.2
Solution B:
Dried Bovine Hemoglobin (BD 212392)…………………….10.0 g
DI Water………………………………………………………..500.0 ml
